Super cool time lapse video compilation in and around Manhattan.
A short video clip of the ferry coming into Seattle harbour. It’s a pretty typically gloomy day in Seattle.
This was a really cool interactive video installation at the “Can’t Look Away” horror film exhibit at the EMP. It uses the viewer’s silhouette to produce some pretty cool shape and sound design effects.
Some more history in a brief amateur documentary on the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Some pretty interesting stuff. I wonder if the guy was a Wits engineer…
Some old footage (along with some trippy synth music) of the original Tacoma Narrows Bridge a.k.a. Gallopin’ Gertie before and during it’s collapse four months after it opened in 1940.
It’s really beautiful and peaceful out here, especially on a clear morning like this one - which doesn’t happen very often out here. In Seattle “clear” means “not raining”. I was just enjoying sitting on the pier with the seal chilling out in the water. I filmed a bit of the view around our spot as well.
A video of our seal buddy who hangs out at our place.
This is about the closest we managed to get to the Rockefeller Plaza for the giant tree lighting show.
Heading down The Mall in Central Park to my favourite version of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. The kid at the end of the video displays a good bit of social wisdom.
We came across these guys performing under The Mall bridge in Central Park
