Shopping for Christmas toys! Manhattan has a lot of these retail spaces scattered all over the place that have no permanent retail tenants. They get hired out for a month or two by a specialist store that sells a specific range of stuff appropriate for the next upcoming holiday. So, for a month or two before the end of October, a whole bunch of stores popped up selling Hallowe’en kit and promptly closed up shop while another bunch moved in and started selling toys for the Christmas season. This is at one of these spots just across the road from our apartment on Broadway.
After visiting SA for a bit, this is so nice to come back to.
